If you’re looking for Google Research, it’s no more. The tech giant has launched a more encompassing company-wide initiative named Google AI, combining all its Google Research projects and artificial intelligence efforts under one umbrella.
The new effort unifies “all the state-of-the-art research happening across Google,” such as computer vision, healthcare research, and AutoML under Google AI. over the years, the company has conducted a ton of AI research, thus AI has become a core to the development of all the machine learning techniques Google is implementing in its products.
Besides the Google Research channels, the company is renaming its blog and affiliated Twitter and Google+ channels to Google AI as part of the new branding. It means you will find any links to previous Google Research website contents, blog posts, tweets to this new website. We are hoping to know more about it at the Google I/O conference later today.
