Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla has tweeted that the company will enable ordering of dual-motor versions of the sedan at the end of next week. This is also a sign that the production woes of Tesla 3 are coming to an end. How much the Model 3 performance model or All-wheel drive with options will cost will be known along with production scheduled to start in July, consistent with Musk’s statement last month.
The specs on either model are still completely unknown but All-wheel drive system was a $5,000 option on the Model S until it became standard (as it is on the Model X) late last year. Musk also stated air suspension could arrive as an option in 2019 as a response to IGN’s Ryan McCaffrey.
