While sitting at home, you may think you’re avoiding pollution from the outdoor. Well, you are not. Surprisingly, you’re breathing 5 times more polluted air than the outdoor. Even, the World Health Organization has considered indoor air pollution as a threat to our life. So, it’s important to keep your indoor air healthy. Clairy knows the importance of it thus developed an air purifier, which is natural and smart at the same time.
Named Natede, this air purifier is a nice and sleek plant holder that circulates cleaner air within your home. While it’s blended with your home décor because of its simple design, the technology behind it helps powers the air purifier. The photocatalytic filter eliminates 93% of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and 99% of viruses, bacteria, and fine particulate. Its advanced sensor can easily detect any impurity in your home. The best part is, you don’t even have to change the filter. Just wash it and you’re done. And do not worry about watering the plant while you’re out. Its self-watering system will do it by itself.
How does it work?
If you think the plant is just for show, you are wrong. It helps with the air purification while making your home beautiful. Paolo Ganis, CEO of Clairy explained, “The core technology of Natede is phytoremediation, which means that it uses the natural power of common plants to clean toxins in the air. Plants placed in Natede metabolize a significantly higher amount of pollutants compared to plants potted in regular vases, because of the combination of design and embedded technology, and Natede’s air flow system quickly and quietly recycles air from a plant’s soil.”
The air purifier is embedded with monitors and sensors that can detect humidity, temperature, VOCs, and carbon-di-oxide in your room. You can see the air quality levels in the monitor or in the Clairy app if you’re out of the home. Natede is powered by Alexa, means you can control it with your voice.
Natede is currently available on Kickstarter and has already surpassed its initial goal. You can pre-order it right now for €145, expecting the delivery in December 2018.
