Tech support from your friends and family is now made easier by Google Duo, with its new update now it comes with the ability to share your screen during a call. Simply tap on your screen to see the new screen sharing icon above the camera-flip one to access the feature. When you tap the feature a warning will come up that Duo will start displaying everything on your screen. if you choose to continue with the option then a red line will appear which will show what the other person can see. A couple of red buttons also show up to give you a way to stop sharing your screen whenever you want.

At its current form, the feature is still buggy and wouldn’t work properly. In some cases when this feature is activated the other person can only see a gray frame instead of a screen and in other cases the recipient only saw a frozen image of the caller’s display. You will have to wait for another update in case it’s also broken for you but potentially screen sharing could become an invaluable tool in the future.
