According to the Financial Times report, here is a great news for the Londoners who use Samsung devices. The company merging with a London-based tech firm called Babylon are going to launch an AI-powered medical consultant service which through users can take consultation with doctors doing video chat and also can look up symptoms through the Samsung Health app.
Interestingly, users would have to pay respectively as £50 for a year while £25 for a single appointment. However, all the money will go to Samsung’s house and later on, the profit will be shared with Babylon which health service in the UK is still familiar with the patient. By the way, Some National Health Service doctors in the UK have accused Babylon of only choosing to serve patients with easy-to-treat symptoms, shifting care away from more serious cases.
Not only with Samsung but Babylon is also trying to expanding its coverage to Chinese app WeChat and has an agreement with Saudi Arabia’s ministry of health as well. And more interestingly, Babylon will soon take off worldwide on Samsung gadgets, according to an unknown source told to the Financial Time.
