Huawei first introduced the highest camera featured smartphone in the market with its P20 Pro smartphone that has three cameras. Now, according to the Android Police report, it seems that following the trend LG wants to add more camera to its upcoming smartphone called LG V40, which is said to have five cameras respectively two at the front while three cameras at the back.
If it happens so then LG V40 will be the second smartphone with a dual front-facing camera. However, the original V10 was actually the first phone with two front-facing cameras particularly used for wide-angle group selfies.
There is no idea that what the third camera will look like on LG’s phone though. On the P20 Pro, one camera is normal while the second one has a monochrome sensor, and the third one has a telephoto lens. LG phones have traditionally combined a normal camera with an ultra-wide-angle shooter. Most probably on the V40 LG, it will be used for portrait effects and security, as it’s expected to work on the upcoming Pixel 3.
On the other hand, a rumor hinted that this year’s iPhone and next year’s Galaxy S10 will also include at least one variant with triple lenses. Anyway, as LG didn’t say anything officially about its upcoming smartphone. So, it is better to wait and see that what LG say about its next smartphone
