If you’re still not tired of seeing Instagram in news every day, there’s another for you. The Facebook-owned company seems to be testing a new feature for Instagram Stories. Dubbed as “ask a question,” this functionality lets users ask questions in Stories.
Right now, you can send the users direct messages while viewing their stories, which they can respond to the story that was shared. However, as you see from the attached screenshot, captured by a tipster for Android Police, users can ask a specific question. Then the viewers can tap into the text box and answer with whatever they like.
You can include polls and emoji sliders while asking a question. Besides, as the screenshot suggests, viewers could roast the uploader in as much severe detail as they would like.
Instagram Stories is quite popular with over 400 million daily users of the feature. Recently, the feature also gained music stickers. The availability of this new functionality is limited right now, but won’t be a surprise if rolls out worldwide soon.
