Adobe currently has Photoshop Express available on iPad but for the next year, it seems to be more means the full version of Photoshop for iPad. Yeas, according to the Bloomberg news, Adobe is in a shift of strategy. The company is planning to launch a full version of Photoshop for the next year’s iPad.
Scott Belsky, Adobe’s chief product officer of Creative Cloud had an interview with Bloomberg where he said that “My aspiration is to get these on the market as soon as possible. There’s a lot required to take a product as sophisticated and powerful as Photoshop and make that work on a modern device like the iPad. We need to bring our products into this cloud-first collaborative era.”
Furthermore, Belsky also said that in the media and entertainment world, customers are nowadays increasingly working on tablets rather than desktop computers. And therefore, they have asked the company for the capability to make edits on the fly to their creative projects.
This year in October Adobe is going to celebrate its annual MAX creative conference where the company is planning to reveal Photoshop for iPad following to release it at the beginning of 2019.
There is no official confirmation that what iPad models would be supported the full version of Photoshop, but we guess that the current iPad Pro may among them. By the way, we are waiting for the official confirmation from Adobe on support for the original iPad Pro and the new 2018 iPad with its A10 processor and Apple pencil support.
