Six Advantages of a Custom Made Logo for Your Business!

Six Advantages of a Custom Made Logo for Your Business!

Many businesses overlook the importance of logos, but having a stylish, memorable and fitting logo can make or break your company. Here are many reasons why it’s important to have a professional design a custom logo for your business.

Make a Strong First Impression

First impressions are everything in the world of business. Consumers are quick to make judgments about brands based from logos and designs. In fact, it takes many customers merely seconds to either desire or reject a brand based on its packaging. When you design a custom logo for your business, it allows you to impart many messages about your company from just a glance. Professional designers know exactly what styles, colors, fonts and images to use in a logo that will allow you to communicate those messages easily.

Convey Professionalism

There are many things businesses are simply required to have in order to convey a sense of professionalism, such as a website, social media pages, and a good name. Having a professionally designed custom logo is also vital to showing others that you’re a serious businessperson running a high-quality company that can fit in with the more firmly established businesses in the area. Learn reasons why business logo fail!

Easier Marketing

Many companies have such a memorable and striking logo that they don’t even need to add additional messages or text when they market themselves. Companies that are just starting out don’t have that luxury, but simply spreading your logo around allows your business name and identity to be easily recognized. Business cards, for example, have minimal information outside of a phone number, a name and your company motto. However, the logo is front and center and usually the part people most remember about the card.

Give Your Brand a Unique Identity

There are hundreds of thousands of brands out there each trying to make a name for themselves and set themselves apart from the competition. While there are many ways to do this from trendy designs to innovative creations, the easiest and quickest way you can achieve this is through making a unique custom logo.

Make Your Brand Memorable

The human mind remembers images much easier than text. Text can be a part of the logo, but the overall image, colors and arrangement create a more concrete memory in the minds of consumers and possible business associates than a simple name.

Increase Brand Loyalty

As long as your company has good products, services and customer relations, people will want to be loyal to your brand. Customers love consistency in what they purchase, and many people find comfort in staying loyal to a brand for years on end when they know that brand stands for quality. You won’t only be creating brand loyalty in your customers with just a few products, however. When they recognize your logo on fliers, advertisements, websites and more, they’ll be more likely to stop and check out what you’re offering. You’re creating a mindset that your company and the customers are a team that support each other whenever they can.

Necessary Parts of a Good Logo

Your brand name should be displayed prominently on the logo to ensure full brand recognition. While the image will become quickly recognizable, you need to get your name out there too. Some people make designs out of the name, which can be very effective if done well. If your name is too long, consider using abbreviations or initials.

A simple image is a must. Minimalist imagery is easy to draw, design, recognize and replicate. If you have a mascot, that can make the perfect base for a logo image.

Your logo will also need a simple color scheme that matches your company’s image but is still bright and easy to spot. Try to have no more than two colors in the logo for the sake of simplicity. Fewer colors also makes it easier to print in black and white.

Conclusion

It’s amazing how much success a custom logo can bring to any business, but there is a lot of power in that little image. It may take some time and patience to eventually develop a logo that will perfectly fit your company, but it will be well worth the effort to put your brand on the map.
